Very rare Citizen Club La Mer 5530-H02179Y Quartz 1980s priced to sell! vendu

Here for sale is a beautiful Citizen Club La Mer quartz watch, model 5530-H02179Y. It is one of a luxury range of watches available only to the japanese market in the 1980, aimed at successful young businessmen. Not easy to find these days.

The watch works perfectly, although the date of the last battery change is unknown. Very good cosmetic condition (see photos - very good as opposed to average or perfect) ; the case shows some signs of its age and the dial has stains between 9-12 o clock. hands are perfect, original glass in perfect condition without the slightest scratch. Good quality blue leather band in used condition which compliments the watch well - you may notice it is a 16mm band fitted to a watch with 18mm lugs; I could not find an 18mm band which did not look too big for the case so instead fitted this one, which suits the watch very well, with thick spring bars so it does not move sideways and the band stays central.

The case measures 32.5mm which to me, personally, would be considered unisex.

Those of you who know what this watch is, will know that it is very collectible and very hard to find for anything less than $500. It has been priced lower due to the stained dial in hope of a quicker sale.
